I was part of team which developed marketing sites for EA Sports™.
I developed sites, including Madden 2004, Madden Challenge 2004,
SSX3, NHL 2004, etc. Along with these sites, my team was also
responsible for the EA.com homepage
and EA Sports™ homepage. I have sampled some of the pages
here that I built. You can see the whole gamut of pages at EASports.com
and EASportsBig.com.
Process:
The sites were developed using a templated approach. XML templates
allowed editors in the team to update content without touching
the code. JSP passed page data from the server and along the
pages to load proper content from the XML templates. HTML and
JavaScript gave the site it's structure and scripting functions.
